LUMPY LODGE is a family run cause and we are totally besotted animal lovers & dedicated to the welfare of all small animals.
For anyone wishing to consider using our facilities please note that our holiday boarding at LUMPY LODGE is a home from home small and manageable retreat for your pets. We are a cosy little holiday home for rabbits and guinea pigs who can come to LUMPY LODGE for their holidays and experience their own little piece of paradise whilst their owner's are away enjoying theirs with the peace of mind and assurance that their animals are happy, healthy, safe and secure at LUMPY LODGE.

At LUMPY LODGE we operate a self-funding sanctuary. To fund our sanctuary we offer holiday boarding to others so that those funds are resourced into our sanctuary so that we are able to operate 365 days a year and ensure the continuous day-to-day care & veterinary welfare of all the aminals in our rescue sanctuary. The service & care we provide for all our animals is strictly a voluntary service by us. We do not receive any financial reward for our work we do at LUMPY LODGE.

We would be extremely grateful for a donation to be considered if you are able to offer a loving and caring home to a small animal from LUMPY LODGE.
LUMPY LODGE are extremely grateful to the highly experienced Veterinary Team at Grove Lodge for the care, treatment & service they provide for all our animals when it is required. We are family members of the Rabbit Welfare Association and actively support animal welfare with other authorities & charities. We are listed with Galen's Gardens, Rabbit Welfare Association, Cavy Rescue, Comfy Cavies, Find Pet Boarding, Vetclick, in their Directories for Small Animal Boarding.
LUMPY LODGE liaised with our City Council Animal Welfare Team for support and guidance. Recent government legislation do not recognise the boarding of small animals to require a licence for these services therefore they do not require monitoring by local councils. Catteries and Kennels, however, do require licensing.
