We purchase all our day-to-day essentials from the Mile Oak Farm & Shop especially their fresh long fibre hay by the bale as this is not only very freshly baled but also economical for our resources.  Our animals particularly our rabbits love chewing on the longer fibres of hay because its good for their teeth and plenty of chewing helps keep their molars short and free of spurs developing so as to prevent dental treatment which could involve a general anaesthetic operation and nursing care for a rabbit.  We purchase top quality Wood Shavings & Straw as well as our other essentials listed in our links.

So that your loved one(s) will be guaranteed plenty of good nights' sleep at LUMPY LODGE we purchased our Summerhouse from Cousins at Hilliers Garden Centre, Horsham which they delivered and installed profesionally.

These  highly palatable feed containing long fibre and herbs which are a complete muesli mix of pellets, micronised cereals, forage, herbs and vegetables suitable for adult and growing rabbits in order to promote a balanced diet and a long, healthy and active life for rabbits and guinea pigs (we use Supreme Gerty Guinea Pig with added vitiman C for our guinea pigs to supplement their diet as this supplement is missing from rabbit mix). 

Although these foods contribute to a complete diet, rabbits & guinea pigs do tend select feed their food so most importantly we ensure that 95% of their diet is plenty of good quality fresh daily hay for a balanced high fibre diet and strong healthy teeth plus fresh fruit and vegetables.  We also always use SupaRabbit for particular breeds of our rabbits.
